Photographer • Salina, KS
Small art prints and cards.
Living and working in Salina, Kansas, Rich Neuman has been photographing the world since he was old enough to hold a camera. The first real camera of significance was a 1964-65 Kodak New York World's Fair 127 roll-film camera that used AG-1B blue flash bulbs. Over the years Mr. Neuman mastered camera settings and how light interplays with those settings and darkroom work and the technical creation of the final product. Time has led to digital camera equipment and techniques, but knowledge from decades past is still very invaluable when it comes to making a very high quality, investment grade photograph for collectors. Film and digital cameras are both still in the arsenal, but smelling chemical fumes all day in the darkroom has been traded for working closely with professional photo labs to create high quality, photographic wall decor.
Rich Neuman Photography has been documenting the Smoky Hill River Festival in Salina, Kansas for 42 years. All your favorite artists and performers will be added to the galleries over time and will be available for purchase.
